To apply, you need to register on this website and fill out the application for the National Round until September 30, 2026.

The application consists of 12 mandatory questions, but don’t worry, it shouldn't take you more than 30 to 90 minutes max.

Your responses will help WSA National Experts assess your solution's relevance and impact. Based on this information, they will decide whether to nominate you for the WSA Global Contest.

WSA welcomes digitial solutions that

1) Create positive impact (and can provide measurable impact numbers),

2) Are fully launched and operational,

3) Were launched in 2022 or later.

Position: Consultant on Digitization for Social Good and Joint Coordinator for Women’s Research, CENWOR, Sri Lanka

Chitranganie Mubarak is the former Chairperson of ICT Agency of Sri Lanka. She played a significant role in the Country’s ICT4D effort and was a major driver of ICTA’s e-Sri Lanka Development Initiative, a project funded by the World Bank. She has given direction to conceptualizing, planning and managing nearly 250 projects with wide ranging development outcomes across the Country. Several of these projects have been recognized internationally for their creativity and impact on society.

She is passionate in driving digitization for the development of creative minds that can help build a society with inspiration, compassion and zest for sharing. With her extensive experience in the domain for digitization for development she provides consulting and advisory services on driving innovative projects which leverage on digital for social good; digital content creation and Women in IT.

As an CIArb accredited mediator, she works with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) - Institute for the Development of Commercial Law and Practice (ICLP) International ADR Center (CCC-ICLP IADR Center), to provide mediation services.

She is a member of the Governing Council and Director of the Centre for Women’s Research, CENWOR and serves as a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of WSA.
